Rig and sails

The sailing yacht is sloop rigged. The aluminum mast is mounted on deck on an insulated mast foot. All halyards are inside the mast,l cables for lighting and navigation instruments are laid through a tube and keep the boat quiet.

The mast is held by a forestay, two insulated double backstays, upper, middle, and double lower shrouds. All are made of stainless steel, and so are the terminals.

Besides, there is the possibility of a removable cutter stay with two backstays. The genoa is set and reefed via a Profurl roll system. A battened mainsail runs in the mast on ball-bearing Ronstan mast carriages. The mast has steps. All self-tailing two-speed winches (Enkes) are made of stainless steel.

On board are two Genoa I+II (42 resp. 50 m²), a battened mainsail (30 m²), a cutter jib (15 m²), a storm jib (8,5 m²), a gennaker (86 m²) as well as a Passat sail (photo) of 117 m².
