Rig and sails

The sailing yacht is sloop rigged. The aluminum mast is mounted on deck on an insulated mast foot. All halyards are inside the mast. All cables for lighting and navigation instruments are laid through a tube in the mast.

The rig is held by a forestay, two insulated double backstays, upper shroud, middle shroud and double lower shrouds made of stainless steel and stainless steel terminals.

In addition, there is the possibility of a removable cutter stay with two backstays. The genoa is set and reefed via a Profurl roll system. A battened mainsail runs in the mast on ball-bearing Frederiksen mast carriages. The mast has steps. All self-tailing two-speed winches (Enkes) are made of stainless steel.

The rig was completely refitted in autumn 2005 at Hahnenfeld Masts in Bremen, as was the complete standing rigging.

On board are two Genoa I+II (42 resp. 50 m²), a battened mainsail (30 m²), a cutter jib (15 m²), a storm jib (8,5 m²), a gennaker (86 m²) as well as a passat sail (photo) of 117 m².
