Displays for speed, depth, wind direction and force are arranged above the companionway. These instruments are visible from the entire cockpit area. You don’t have to stand behind the rudder to read them. At the navigation board we have an Autohelm daughter display, the B&G plotter with radar, a Furuno GPS and a Navico VHF radio with integrated DSC-D controller for marine and inland navigation radio. Weather and Navtex messages can be received via a Fastnet radio with a printer. The steering compass (Silva 150 T Ocean with D compensation! for steel ships) is mounted on the steering column at the rudder.
